Yimsamer had received this huge opportunity to create something phenomenal in Sala Prakeaw, one of the iconic architecture of Chulalongkorn University, to celebrate the 85th anniversary of Faculty of Architecture.

Our 2 main pieces are :
- “85th” LIGHTING PERFORMANCE
We communicated the story of the Faculty of Architecture through sound, lighting scenes, and 3D projection mapping. The challenges are not only to design lighting scenes to cover the whole space but also to project the motion graphics onto the glass windows that have to be covered with opaque materials. These glass windows are 15 meters high and 30 meters wide.
- “85th” INTERACTIVE BACKDROP INSTALLATION
Photo backdrop is considered as an entrance to an event. We wanted to create a new experience that is more than just taking photos. We decided to do an interactive installation using the 85th anniversary book to be a part of our design. We selected 8 out of the 85 stories in the book to make the replica book that stood in front of the backdrop. With machine learning and image processing principle, we used a webcam to detect the images in the book to process the graphics on the backdrop to change corresponding to the image on each page.
